In this artwork from The Spirit Tree series, conventional perception becomes almost transparent. Through intentional camera movement (ICM) and intricate multiple exposure, the rigid form of the tree softens, transforming into a pure, vibrating diffusion of light. The image seems to dissolve into its own atmosphere, yet remains a living, pulsating core that anchors the viewer’s gaze.
This piece is realized through my own unique shooting technique, where every image is born entirely in-camera. I strictly avoid using Photoshop for digital manipulation or altering forms; the fluid boundaries, depth of space, and dreamlike atmosphere are captured at the exact moment of shutter release. A vital element of this process is my distinctive color work. The final refinement occurs during RAW conversion, where I do not artificially alter the scene, but carefully unveil the subtlest color nuances already captured by the sensor.
Where warm autumn tones intertwine with cooler, almost spectral hues, a quiet yet continuous inner movement is born. This is not a literal depiction of a landscape, but an ephemeral sense of presence—a trace of inner energy and the memory of a place. This fine art photography piece invites the viewer to slow down, release conventional expectations, and experience the subtle life of nature through intuitive, deeply personal contemplation.
