In Ethereal Dance, I explore the pure energy of a moment where blooming ceases to be just a biological process and transforms into a tangible vibration of color and light. I strive to capture that fragile transition from form to sensation—the moment when petals lose their sharp edges in my lens and merge into a single rhythmic impulse. For me, this title reflects the state of "in-between," that very threshold between the recognizable and the abstract, where a deep, almost infinite blue space enters into a silent dialogue with pulsating pink flashes of life.
This fine art photography piece is realized through my own unique shooting technique, captured entirely in-camera without Photoshop. The fluid boundaries, dreamlike atmosphere, and sweeping motion are created at the exact moment of shutter release using intentional camera movement (ICM) and multiple exposure. A vital element of this process is my distinctive color work during RAW conversion, where I do not artificially alter the scene, but carefully unveil the subtlest color nuances already captured by the sensor.
I do not attempt to fixate on dry reality; instead, I invite the viewer into a dreamscape where the image seems woven from ether and fleeting emotions. The word "Ethereal" emphasizes the immateriality of this scene, turning a tree into a living, fluid stream. In this work, I liberate vision from the habitual expectation of clarity, allowing one not to analyze details, but to experience the very atmosphere of presence. Ethereal Dance is my visual meditation on the eternal movement of nature, captured in that elusive instant when the world has not yet taken final shape, remaining pure inspiration.
