The series “Ecstatic Energy” explores the raw moment of ecstasy that arises in a direct, unmediated encounter with nature—before words, categories, or meanings appear. In these works, the tree ceases to be a passive object and reveals itself as a vibrant, living being, filled with light, fluid movement, and immense inner force.
Each piece in this fine art photography series is realized through my own unique shooting technique, where I literally paint with my camera directly in the field. Using complex multiple exposure as the core foundation and combining it with intentional camera movement (ICM), I create every image entirely in-camera without Photoshop. Color transforms into pure vibration, branches become expressive gestures, and the sky becomes a field of primal energy.
A defining aspect of this process is my distinctive color work during RAW conversion. Rather than artificially altering the scene or adding foreign colors, I simply complete the development of the captured tones, allowing the images to breathe.
The three works in this series present three distinct states of this vitality: the radiance of the crown, its inner rhythm, and the autumnal flow of color. Together, they create an experience of ecstasy—quiet, internal, yet profoundly powerful, like a sudden, intuitive recognition of the world’s primordial energy.
