“Phantom Structures: Energy of Light and Color” is a series in which the tree reveals itself as a living organism, expressing its presence through light, movement, and inner vibration. Using my own unique shooting technique, I create images where form dissolves and gives way to pure energy—to what is felt before it becomes visible.
Each piece in this fine art photography series is captured entirely in-camera without Photoshop. Through intentional camera movement (ICM) and complex multiple exposure, tree crowns transform into luminous structures, leaves become pulses of color, and the sky turns into a space where invisible forces manifest. This is not a fixation of external appearance, but an attempt to convey a state—a fleeting moment when the tree breathes, speaks, and remembers.
A vital element of this project is my distinctive color work during RAW conversion. I do not artificially paint or alter the scene; instead, I carefully unveil the subtlest, most delicate color nuances and shifting layers already captured by the digital sensor.
The series explores the subtle boundary between the real and the perceived. Phantom layers of light and color create the impression of living matter that moves and shifts right before the viewer. It is a visual experience in which nature reveals its hidden side—the one that usually escapes the casual eye but remains deeply rooted in the body’s memory. “Phantom Structures: Energy of Light and Color” is an encounter with nature as an primal force that manifests not through rigid form, but through fluid, continuous energy.
