Phantom Trees presents the forest as a living interlocutor and keeper of memory. Using an author’s shooting technique combining movement and multilayering of the image, I dissolve familiar contours to reveal experience instead of object: flickers of light, the whisper of branches, and thin strata of memory. Each photograph becomes a threshold between worlds, inviting the viewer back to a childlike, shamanic perception free from labels and explanation.
These works do more than depict trees — they call for attention and care. Trees are treated as partners, and the series quietly insists on forest conservation and the protection of trees. Through blur and layered exposures I aim to transmit direct knowing and an emotional bond that urges us to look deeper and to steward the living landscape.
